How to calculate dose distribution

 

This workspace (GDDD) serves for calculating the dose distribution for a 3D dosimeter and the preparation of the 3D dose distribution matrix. The matrix (*.vec) is treated as the measured dose distribution for a 3D dosimeter and is used further in the Gel dosimetry vs. Treatment Planning System (TPS) Workspace for comparison with the calculated 3D dose distribution with the aid of a TPS.

 

For the purpose of measurements of dose distribution in a 3D polymer gel dosimeter, the GeVero Co. Dose distribution phantom 1 or 2 can be chosen.
