 How to calculate a calibration equation

 

This movie is to illustrate how a calibration equation is obtained in polyGeVero-CT software.

 

The following can be seen in the movie:

  1. Imported CT cross beam calibration data that was obtained after special processing: see the movie of How to process example CT data 
  2. The option of Edit/Show ROI is used for selecting ROIs related to the regions of quasi-uniform CT signal distributions as obtained after irradiation according to a cross beam calibration pattern
  3. Drawing a calibration relation and fitting a calibration function to experimental points
